Dr. Jake True
Dr. Jake True was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit as a child and felt the tug to ministry as a freshman in college in 2009. Jake studied at Zion Bible College, Evangel University, and Liberty University. Throughout his studies, Jake developed a passion for communicating and teaching God's Word with skill and accuracy, and discipling people in the truth. His doctoral studies focused on Pentecostal discipleship and education, namely teaching that makes room for the work of the Holy Spirit.
While in college, Dr. True began serving in ministry as an intern. Later, in seminary, he began serving in pastoral ministry. He has served churches in Missouri, Maine, and now Illinois. In addition, Jake has been an educator, teaching students from Kindergarten all the way to the college level. He is passionate about people understanding God's Word and His World. Dr. True is an ordained minister and an endorsed chaplain. He currently serves on the pastoral staff of Abundant Life Marion, and as a teacher at Unity Christian School. He and his wife live in Marion, Illinois.
